Amanda Crispel is the acting dean of Champlain College's Creative Media division, professor of game design, and an experienced long time video game industry veteran.
This is an interview with a Champlain College senior game sound designer who tells us about their final project.
Edited entirely with Adobe After Effects with trailer clips from the best movies of the year and commentary written by me.
I used Adobe After Effects to create a kinetic type rendition of the climactic scene from drama film Mass (2021) written and directed by Fran Kranz.
Using Adobe After Effects I created a video showcasing why video advertisements land the most consumers using statistics provided by Animoto.
Using my own recorded sound effects I remade the audio of one opening scene from the Disney film Wall-E (2008). I used Pro Tools to edit the audio.
For this audio design project I similarly recorded sound effects to recreate an iconic scene from Alfonso Cuarón's Children of Men (2006). Audio edited with Pro Tools. Best listened to with headphones.
I composed music for this scene using a midi piano and Logic X Pro
Using the same method as The Birds, I added music to this scene in Dog Day Afternoon. The film did not originally have music.
